Select Album Theme Colors
Pixplug's Album Themes are built so you can easily change the colors to fit your preferences.

Album Manager >
Album Controls > Select Album Theme Colors
To change the colors used in an Album Theme go to the Album Manager > Album Controls > Select Album Theme Colors page:

Once you're on this page you'll see a set of color boxes that match the current theme you are using for your album:

To change a color click on the color box and a color picker will appear on the screen:

IMove the blue controls around to adjust the color until the example color bar on the right side of the color picker shows you the color you want to have applied. When it does, click the OK button at the top of the color picker:

After you change the color and click the OK button on the color picker the color box on the page will be updated to reflect your changes:

After you change the colors you have to click the Apply button to have this applied to your site:

Reverting to Original Colors
If you decide you want to revert the album theme colors back to the original design, click the Revert to Original Colors button:

Example Of Changing An Album Theme's Colors
For this example we'll apply the Album Theme: Gradient 20. Here is an example of what the Album Colors look like:

After applying this album theme we click on the Album Manager > Album Controls > Select Album Theme Colors link:

For this example we are going to change the bright blue color that is used on the Album Theme and is labeled 'Global Link Color Hover. Look at the album theme example (above) and you will see that this color has been used in several places on the design. To simplify the design schema the same color is used in multiple places. This makes changing the colors easier and faster for you. The names of the colors, however, do not always reflect what they are used for. The bright blue, for example, is used for the Hover color but is also used for the Album Title and for the Selected Photo color.

In many cases the best way to identify what color you want to change is by first looking at the album theme and then changing the color and going back to the theme to preview the changes.

So now we'll change the color by clicking on the bright blue color box:

By moving the color slider and the color dot we are able to set the color to a light tan color:

We then click the OK button to close the color picker:

The updated color is now shown in the color box:

When we are done making the color changes we click the Apply button at the top of the Change Album Theme Colors page:

After clicking apply look at the top of the page and you will see a Back button next to the Album Manager name:

Click this link to go to the Album Photos page. We can see how the changes to the Album Colors have affected this page:

Click the View Album link to go to the Album Viewer and see how the color changes have affected the Album Viewer page:
